Our Learn-to-Swim programme is a progressive, aspirational system designed for children aged 3+. We focus on water confidence, technical excellence, and building a genuine love for the sport.
Visible progress is at the heart of our academy. Our signature system uses seven structured levels to guide your child from their first splash to technical mastery.
Committed to Excellence,
The Cap & Badge Pathway
Level 1
Starfish
The journey begins here with a gentle introduction to the aquatic environment. This level is entirely focused on water confidence, building trust with the instructor, and learning basic safety skills like safe entry and exit.
Level 2
Seahorses
Once comfortable, swimmers begin to develop independent movement. We focus on buoyancy, front and back glides, and the courage to submerge fully, ensuring they feel "at home" both on and under the surface.
Seals
Marked by the introduction of the Teal Cap, this level focuses on core aquatic skills. Swimmers start learning the initial mechanics of coordinated stroke movements and improving their body position in the water.
Stingrays
In this stage, we begin to build endurance and rhythmic breathing. Swimmers work on the foundational mechanics of Freestyle and Backstroke, ensuring their kick is strong and their arm recovery is consistent.
Sharks
The Navy Cap signifies a shift toward technical refinement. We focus on advanced body position and efficiency across all four strokes, teaching swimmers how to move through the water with minimal resistance.
Swordfish
This level introduces more complex drills and increased training distances. Swimmers refine their technique under fatigue, ensuring they maintain "Standards before Shortcuts" as they prepare for higher-intensity training.
Pre-Knight
The final step in our Learn-to-Swim programme serves as the bridge to the Squad Pathway. The focus here is on discipline, competitive starts, and technical readiness, ensuring the swimmer is fully prepared for structured squad training.
